MARIA FARRO was born of the desire to support the Cretan community and develop modern footwear incorporating techniques mastered by one of the world's oldest civilisations.
Founded on simple aesthetic principles, the brand has combined the designer's roots in Bondi Beach, Australia with the pink beaches of Elafonisi, Crete to create a lifestyle range that will take you from the inner city to the sea, and back.
All MARIA FARRO sandals are 100% leather and handmade in beautiful Chania, situated on the north coast of Crete, Greece.
All MARIA FARRO sandals are handmade by artisans in Crete, Greece. As such, each individual pair may vary slightly, especially in the colour, tone, and texture of the leather. Variations between pairs are not considered a fault, but rather the beauty of a product crafted with natural materials. We love the way our sandals age over time, with each wear, often sharing photographs of our customers' well-loved, long-lasting sandals. Despite this, applying leather protector is also recommended for longevity. We also recommend keeping your sandals out of direct sunlight and avoiding wet weather — exposure to these elements will naturally affect your product.
 

Lex Leather Flip Flop

Introducing The Lex leather flip flops; a fresh interpretation of a classic Greek sandal style. The slip-on sandals are lightweight and comfortable with the medium to thick straps making for a luxe version of the traditional leather thong.
Hand made in Greece, the leather soled shoes mould to the foot's contours, with the sandals promising both comfort and durability. Our classic black thong provides for the ultimate versatility from leisurely beach days, urban explorations, and everything in between.

Designed in collaboration with Nothing Written Korea; The Lepto flip flops were designed as a minimal yet supportive leather thong. The thin double straps provide a unique take on an all-black leather flip-flop, providing a stylish alternative to a classic sandal shape. They were deliberately designed to be able to pair back with a summer dress or a classic pant in a simple yet elegant way.

Winona Slide — Black Leather

MARIA FARRO sandals are handmade with natural leather. Taking cues from the 90s, the WINONA slide is a blend of the past with the present. The minimal leather shoe-string straps add a light touch to all outfits.
